University Health Services is a medical clinic in University Park, Pennsylvania. It is listed at Student Health Center, 542 Eisenhower Rd, University Park, PA 16802, which places it among the local businesses of University Park that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under pharmacy, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In University Park, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across Pennsylvania, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 865-4847. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, studentaffairs.psu.edu.

Its Google rating stands at 2.9 out of 5 from 163 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

I’ve been to UHS at least 20 times the past two years. Every single staff member has been extremely kind and helpful. Every nurse took the time to help addressing my needs, very kindhearted and patient people. And the doctors have always tried their best and hardest to get to the root of the problems. Even the pharmacists are lovely!!! I highly recommend

I don't think I've written a review before, and especially not a negative review, but I have to do this. When I went in, I met with Physician Assistant Holli Kubalak after I hurt my knee downhill skiing. I told her what happened and how I felt, which were all incredibly clear signs of an ACL tear. She then reinvented my story to tell me what happened to me, and that my knee was fine and just swollen from falling on it. I'm not an athlete, so I didn't know any better. I only learned a month and a half later that my ACL was torn when I went home for spring break and I had to schedule surgery to fix it (which would have been scheduled much sooner had I known). I am a graduating senior, so this negatively impacted my last semester.

i would rate 0 starts if i could lollll, Somebody came here to check if they had an ovarian cyst and was told no, she did not. When she flew to Mx for the same thing, to check if she had an ovarian cyst, she had one that was about to rupture and needed surgery. Trust your gut because doctors don't know how to identify cysts anymore!

I have had a consistently great experience with UHS at Penn State. Dr. Cardinale has been excellent with general health concerns and medication prescriptions - knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in patient care. Dr. Donahue's OMT treatments have also been incredibly helpful and effective. The nurses are always kind, supportive, and make visits feel comfortable, and the entire staff is efficient and well-organized. Scheduling appointments is straightforward and convenient, which makes a huge difference as a student. Overall, a very high-quality, patient-centered experience.

I was surprised to see such a low rating, my experience with the doctors, nurses or any staff member has always been excellent. Everyone is very helpful, kind and diligent in the work they do. Yes, the pharmacy may not be as fast as other pharmacies in town, but it’s because they’re the busiest, so keep that in mind.
